Kimihia Opetaia
Founding Practitioner

Ko Kimihia Opetaia ahau
I carry the stories of my Samoan ancestors from Siumu and the villages of Falealili, held by the quiet strength of Saleilua, Malaemalu, Sapunaoa, Siuniu, and Salesatele.
From Aotearoa, my grounding flows from Taupiri maunga and the steady flow of the Waikato awa. I stand within Waikato‑Maniapoto, guided by Ngāti Apakura, Ngā Toko Toru, Ngāti Kotara, and Ngāti Tamainupō, their resilience shaping the way I lead with wairua, serve with integrity, and prosper with purpose.
Wairua‑aligned practice, Bicultural Supervision, and Māori Health Leadership
My mahi sits where lived experience, cultural grounding, wairua alignment and clinical practice meet.
I support individuals, whānau, and kaimahi to navigate life’s impacts, the moments that unsettle wairua, dim mauri, hold someone back within themselves, or leave them uncertain about their next steps.
My practice is a pathway of clearing, aligning, and reconnecting, drawing on wairua, hinengaro, whakapapa, and embodied knowing to bring ease to what feels heavy, breath‑stealing, or restricted.
